BTW: Happy Mardi Gras! Here in Lafayette, it's the second biggest celebration after New Orleans in America. I no longer go to the parades though. The last time I went was about 15 years ago and I must admit I imbibed a little too much...

Hi, several years ago I was in the back areas of your community and got lost. I saw a deputy sheriff for directions to Lafayette and he said, 'do you want to go the short mile or the long mile. I said 'the short way'. He told me to 'follow this road until you get to the place that barn use to be and take a right, it will take you right into town'.....I went the 'long mile'.
