I'm convinced some people are just wired differently than most of us. She had a large family and a lot of her actions, most of her life, appear to be a cry for attention, probably as a child she never felt like she got enough (attention)...
If she were anyone else in the world, I wouldn't say this, but since she's who she is - I might not believe the allegations she growled in that nasty, snarling interview about her mom - and her stepdad.
She left home at 15, or was kicked out, depended on who is telling the story. She supposedly flunked 9th grade (*that* I believe) and then got kicked out of school in her sophomore year for fighting.
I have never quite figured out when Virgie ever lived in Mexia. She was on one of the shows and said she couldn't understand why Vickie told everyone she was dirt poor and from a small town, when she was born and raised in Houston and their family was middle-class.
Seems like maybe when she was 15 she went to live somewhere else, such as Mexia, maybe with the aunt and uncle (her mom's brother and his wife) who were real lenient with her. I haven't been able to confirm that, but that's how it seems.
Virgie has worked for the Harris County Sheriff's Dept for 28 years, she said on Nancy Grace's show. That would mean since 1978. She married Don Hogan here (Harris County, which is Houston) in Feb 1967, when she was just 16, and Vickie was born exactly 9 months later, in Nov 1967.
Apparently, Virgie also had another child at the time, a son born when she was 14-1/2, but she hadn't married the boy's father. He married someone else two weeks after she married Hogan.
Virgie and Hogan divorced in Feb 1969 (Harris Co.). Hogan remarried in 1970 and Virgie remarried in 1971 (Harris Co.), to Donald Ray Hart. That would've been Vickie's stepfather during the time period in question. He and Virgie were married until 1983, which was the same year Vickie quit school.
I remember her HS yearbook photo (9th grade) had her calling herself "Nikki Hart." That was in Mexia, so either she had gone away to Mexia on her own or the Harts lived there for a short while, but they were back in Harris Co. by 1978 if Virgie has been working here for 28 years.
That would've been 5 years before Vickie's schooling in Mexia - so perhaps she lived with someone else at the time, like the aunt and uncle.
Vickie married Billy Wayne Smith in Apr 1985, when she was 17 and he was 16, and Daniel was born in 1986 in Mexia. Then she left Billy in mid-1986 and came back to Houston, working at Wal-Mart and then as a waitress before going into topless dancing. This must be the time when she deposited Daniel with Virgie for the next 6 years, until Howard Marshall gave her a house and a nanny for him in 1993.
Meanwhile, Virgie was going through a succession of husbands, marrying in 1987, 1996 and 2000, all in Harris Co. I don't have notes on when all her other children were born, or all of Don Hogan's, or the children of the rest of them.
At any rate, 1983 seemed to be a pivotal year, when she left school and her mom ended her longest marriage. I just wouldn't put it past Anna Nicole to have made up those allegations or worse yet, to have initiated something inappropriate.
And far be it from me to *ever, ever* say that about any other possible molestation situations - this is just one person that I think might have done this.
