She had an 8th grade education, was considered illiterate, unable to correctly write numbers, would add zero's, etc.
Would she actually be taking the time to cautiously write her initials.
But if a forgery, why do the will as they did? Daniel would have been about 14 years old. There were 3 dates he would have been eligable for money...25, 30, 35, IIRC....so HKS would have controlled that money for quite a few years.....guess that would be enuf to forge for.
I have no idea if this will is legit but if it's not previously filed it would be very easy to change a few words or make additions/deletions.
