That is my understanding as well because in the Bahamas, whoever's name is on the birth certificate is the father. Period. At least he made it sound that way and criticized Americans for disputing their laws.

It won't matter because the house didn't belong to ANS, therefore they weren't residents; the baby is an American citizen.

Screw the Bahamas.

Not exactly - somewhere on this thread are posted the Bahamian laws concerning unwed parents and that unless a legal marriage exists - there is no "father".
