However, I also do not like a potential murderer to get away scott free with his crime. If he is not responsible for her death - fine! The evidence will show that. But, my point is, the assumption should be from the beginning that a CRIME may have occurred. Therefore it should be treated as a POTENTIAL CRIME - at the least manslaughter or 2nd degree murder. Go at it from that perspective. Treat it like a potential crime. Do NOT go on national TV the day it happens and say there is no evidence of a crime here!!!!
We've been told this police chief is top notch and tenacious. My point is - so far - I have heard NOTHING to convince me that anyone in an official capacity is treating Anna Nicole's death as a possible crime. That, to me, is totally against normal police procedure - for any investigation that is an honest, truthseeking one.
