I assume the baby is still in the Bahamas to avoid paternity test as per Anna and her lawyer husband. The baby has probably never set foot in the USA.

Who knows when they will ever get that test now. Meantime the baby is likely being kept away from a father that desperately wants his daughter to have a good home.
