Honestly I'm fearful of writing my actual feeling about this event because I don't want to be eaten alive by what seems the majority in here.

Anna Nicole Smith was no Marilyn Monroe.

Different Americas for one thing.

Anna Nicole Smith was a stripper, a Playmate of the Year 1993. She got fat...she got sort of skinny. She marries a very old multi millionaire, and gets involved in a most bitter fight over some money. She gives birth three days before seeing her son drop dead of a drug overdose.

What has she done to deserve all this attention?

We've gone celebrity crazy.

It's no different than slowing down to look at a train wreck.,p> Marilyn, OTOH, made movies with Clark Gable, married Joe DiMaggio and sang Happy Birthday to President Kennedy in 'that' dress. Game over!
