That's possible. I keep going back to Perper saying we would be "surprised" at his findings. He did say that at one point, right? I don't think an OD would surprise anyone, would it? Maybe he thinks it would. Has he ever retracted that earlier impression that we would be surprised at her cause of death?

No, he's not retracted it. When he said this was a complex medical case, I take him at his word.

Was she pregnant again? HIV positive? Those two scenerios would be mildly shocking. When it comes to Anna, nothing really shocks me anymore.
