My other thought is that they released what they were questioning him on to see the other rats start scurrying around.

Usually that kind of info doesn't come out unless the police want it to, or unless Moe spilled it.

Very good theory about Moe working w/cops, but keeping his public persona as firmly planted in Team $tern. Waaaay upthread I asked about Moe either wanting 'face time' or just being stupid. I hope I was really, really wrong and that Moe is cooperating with the cops/Feds.
