Do you think it would be too much to ask, (with all the crack news investigators that are on this case in Miami) for SOMEONE to determine the location of the boat that the "Stern's" were picking up?

Is it still in the dock? And where is H.K.Stern?

The news people followed Nowak every moment on the plane transfers. Why aren't they following Stern?

They aren't following Stern because (unlike the nutty astronaut gal) there isn't a schedule so that they can simply go to a pre-determined place (like an airport) and wait for him to appear.

Stern is avoiding the press and so it would require some actual work in order to find him. Since they are lazy, they won't do it.

I also would bet that Howard Stern is a democrat, and that, of course, would give him a protective shield.

It would seem that reporters would be all over Stern, why aren't they?

Maybe they feel complicit in his exploitation of her, and like that "Entertainment Tonight" reporter, have been spewing Stern's spin while doing nothing to help her.

Weird in the way the media can be so judgmental that they can destroy anyone, but with this gal they choose to mock, laugh, and capitalize on her addictions and her son's horrid death, instead of putting pressure on Stern.
