Paparazzi follow celebs everywhere. They listen to police scanners, etc so they can swarm in. If they were in the lobby (I'm sure they followed Anna the entire time she was there) they would have most certainly noticed a ton of confusion and excitement. Couple that with perhaps a police scanner dispatch and their cameras would definitely be rolling. There were loads of pictures of a dead Princess Diana that were confiscated.

Yes, but this is supposedly of her having CPR administered. That would be presumably in her room. The only scenario I could imagine where she would be close to the pap's is if they restarted her heart and were bringing her down to the ambulance and she faded out again.
