I have always thought the mother Vergie should have custody of ANS body and bury it wherever she wants and it's outrageous that she does not.
IF LB is the father - the baby should of course go to him with generous visitation allowed for Vergie.
I do not believe that Vergie's family environment is a desirable one based on what I have seen and read.
IF there is dirt on LB and/or family, don't think for a minute that Stern and ET will not dig it out and air it.
There's lots of real information and opinions here. This is my opinion at this time and subject to change within the next couple thousand posts. :o)
Vergie is the only one who should have custody of ANS body since she is her mother and there is no other adult who is closer. Vergie took care of her son for many years and her father left them. Obviously the body cannot be turned over to a baby.
I am not alleging any dirt on LB's family. I am saying WE DON'T KNOW SO MUCH YET ABOUT THEM, as they unlike Anna's family haven't made it into the news as much, or in a negative way...yet. There could be a few bad apples who might misuse the situation. Not saying there are, just, there could be. So more would need to be known for me to decide that only Anna's family should be cut off.
Let me add, again, I think it's moot. Larry has said Virgie (I don't know about his view on all the other relatives) should be in DL's life. And Virgie has said she wants Larry to raise DL if he's the father.
If I've misunderstood your views I gladly stand corrected. Did you not post that after you saw that Virgie had brought along a camera crew to Daniel's grave you had second thoughts about what her role should be? Have you not stated that ALL OTHER relatives of Anna and Daniel should be cut off from anything to do with their remains or with DL? But have not decided anything like that in regard either to Stern's family (that IS who Virgie is trying to get DL away from) or LB's family?
Those were my understandings that prompted the post, although some of it was just aimed at anyone who might read it, not necessarily you alone. My gleaning of your views was kind of a springboard for my post. And I welcome your clarifying anything I misunderstood.
