This picture I took is a black woman and child. The woman has her head wrapped like slaves used to do an dthe girl has on a long white dress, the whole building has an aura, including the bushes in front of it, yet once you get past the edge of the building, the trees are totally normal, even one that is half in front of the building and half not... it's very interesting... oh, I forgot, just looking at it again, there is another black woman with head wrapped peering out the hole where a window was upstairs. The building had no roof or windows. I've always kept the picture on my desk and it was taken over 20 years ago.

I love the old black women here in the South. I realize that's a strange thing to say, but I'm drawn to their strength..
