I also believe that Anna saw this baby as a pot of gold due to her trying to get Thompson to believe he was the father and even after he told her he could not be the father she still tried to get him to sign off on the birth certificate but he refused, so Stern was her only other option because she feared Larry would take the baby away from her.

Interesting idea. I never thought of it that way. Never followed the Thompson thing and didn't realize how wealthy he really was. But what would HKS gain if Anna ran off with Thompson? Wouldn't he be thrown out with this weeks trash?

Anna would not have ran off with Thompson. She would married him for money and kept her lawyer nearby and who knows maybe they would have killed Thompson off or waited until she could get a hefty divorce settlement.

Thompson has money - he drop $900,000 on that house in the Bahamas. He is probably not a billionaire though.
