No, HKS convinced her she needed the money. Larry made enough to support herself. She could have lived moderately on just what pictures she sold her through out the career. but she was greedy. And she had a greedy "We could get the millions Anna, just keep trying" HKS behind her whispering in her ear. If she would have stayed with Larry, they could have lived a 'normal' life and her and Daniel would probably both be alive.
