why ANS so soon after a C-section would be up checking him since he was seen helping her to the bathroom during the night.

Maybe it was the way he was sitting in the chair? He might've been slouched way over to one side with his head hung down on the arm of the chair. Speculation.

I had my C-section at 8:00 am and by 2:00 called for them to send me my baby and the only time she wasn't in my room for feeding and changing is when i was sleeping. And only then because I was afraid I wouldn't hear her cries being doped up on pain meds. When you have a csection, they FORCE you up the same day and you have walk once an hour afterwad.
