The legal fight did not start until after she was in the Bahamas.

I believe what happened was Birkhead called (late May/early June 06) Thompson to see what happened between Anna in him during Nov and Dec 05. Birkhead may have warned Thompson at that time that Anna was going to make the claim that he was the father of the baby. (Stern told Birkhead in late May 06 that Anna was going to run off to be with the real father of the baby who was in FL.)

I think Birkhead then learned about Thompson's vasectomy through Thompson. By then Anna was already settling in the Bahamas.

The legal fight over the house between the 2 of them I believe started right around the end of Sept/beginning of Oct. But Anna was already claiming that B Thompson was the father of the baby before she even went to the Bahamas.

Why the Shelly's help her after this is beyond me. They said they just blew it off and did not question her about her claim because they knew about their father/father in laws vasectomy.
