Anna Nicole Smith collapsed in her hotel room at the Hard Rock Cafe and Casino in Hollywood, Fla., and was rushed to a hospital on Thursday. A Hollywood, Fla., fire department spokesman told MSNBC TV that the actress was unresponsive when the rescue unit arrived on the scene.
Sources confirmed to Access Hollywood that Smith was transported to Memorial Regional Hospital shortly after 2 p.m. EST on Thursday. Access Hollywood also is reporting that Smith was intubated at the scene.
Officials told the Miami Herald, "it does not look good."

I say HKS will show up only if there is some way he can make some money off of the drama while he is here. If he hasn't lined up some way to make the $$, he will not show.

I've been working on a timeline, and those dates remain fuzzy. (I still have a lot to comb through). I saw the Thompson's (friends in Myrtle Beach) interviewed, and I had the impression that HKS came to MB and took her to the Bahamas.
Couldn't some of her assets (if there are any) also be in a trust that wouldn't be public?

"This past week, California's medical board opened an inquiry as investigators tried to determine if there was any misconduct by Dr. Sandeep Kapoor, who reportedly prescribed methadone to Smith.
An attorney for Kapoor, a 1996 graduate of Boston University School of Medicine, said in a statement Friday that his treatment of Smith was "sound and appropriate" and he will cooperate with the state's medical board.
Celebrities turn off their "psychological smoke alarms" and surround themselves with people willing to cater to their needs and who aren't willing to intervene when problems arise.
"It's not easy to say no to a celebrity," said Michael Levine. "History has taught us whether it's Anna Nicole, Elvis or John Belushi, they can get what they want. It's like water."

By the way everyone, there are a couple of specials on tonight dedicated to ANS deaths saga. I think Nancy Grace has one - but not sure - I know GAG if it is her. I think that one is at 8:00 PM ET - and Geraldo (I know, gag) has one at 10 PM ET.
Not sure I can take two TV hours (with all the commercials) about this since we have probably got more info here than they will cover.....but just letting others know.
I wonder if Virgie can sue HK$ for the wrongful death of Daniel. If there is proof that HK$ gave Daniel the drugs that resulted in Daniel's death I doubt whether HK$ will ever see a cent of Anna's estate.

G. SHELLY: No. Actually Ford flew to California and brought her back by herself, and I stayed with her for probably like two and a half, three weeks. And at that time, Howard was not with her. She was the true Anna. We had a wonderful time. She spent a lot of time with our children. And my brother and his wife and their children went and stayed with her when me and Ford had to go out of town one weekend. And, no, she was perfectly fine until Howard came.
