Anna Nicole Smith collapsed in her hotel room at the Hard Rock Cafe and Casino in Hollywood, Fla., and was rushed to a hospital on Thursday. A Hollywood, Fla., fire department spokesman told MSNBC TV that the actress was unresponsive when the rescue unit arrived on the scene.
Sources confirmed to Access Hollywood that Smith was transported to Memorial Regional Hospital shortly after 2 p.m. EST on Thursday. Access Hollywood also is reporting that Smith was intubated at the scene.
Officials told the Miami Herald, "it does not look good."
He's even had a "beautiful designer dress" specially commissioned for her burial! Aaagh. What if she's just a bag of bones and 4 big balloons?
Sorry. He has also chosen a casket which was similar to Daniel's and is what she said she wanted when they chose that one.
Couple of questions that may have already been posted..
Wasn't the nurse married to the bodyguard?
Could Methadone use (or withdrawal from) been the cause of Anna's fever or flu symptoms?
Is this how he avoids appearing in court? Would the judge still order him to appear if his pleadings are withdrawn and he is no longer a party? Hmmmmmm.....
At least we'd lose his annoying lawyer then. It would be Rales vs. Virgie's lawyer.
Wow, on both counts. Kirin is pretty smart, but that was definitly not smart! I'm not a fan of Gretchen, but to deman her firing.
I just don't understand having a dress specially designed for her burial. It is a funeral, not a Hollywood premier.
IMO, An RN (Registered Nurse) in good standing would not allow herself to be around drugs in that quantity. She would know that liquid Methadone is not prescribed to individuals in a quantity resevered for clincs, hospitals and pharmacies, plus she would easily see the quanitiy consumed and know it was drug abuse.
If HKS withdraws from the body/burial fight he also doesn't have to appear in Florida does he?

There's something subliminal going on here -someone knew she was going to die and need a casket.

Dr. Drugs' attorney has issued a statement that it's perfectly all right to prescribe Methadone to a pregnant woman.
Surely her agent wouldn't have demanded that without her knowledge? Either way it was pretty bold.

That's what I said first - but was hoping that Hef would let them have the MM-neighboring crypt and both in it.
Then Virgie also suggested he could be exhumed and brought to TX. (Then I didn't feel so bad, that a family member wasn't against exhumation.)
He doens't say, but he also says that taking Methodone during a pregnancy does not cause birth defects either.
HKS doesn't care about the body. He's probably laughing that he can appear to withdraw from the fight graciously, but reluctantly - as described by his law-partner-in-crime.
He's only interested in claiming he's the father of Dannielyn - her guardian and executor.
He is probably in no mental shape to handle all the questions at a hearing on the body. The body can't help him now.
I think that argument can be made by HKS if he is trying to avoid appearing. The judge will decide. I guess the judge could still compel his attendance as a material witness.
Oh, and that he is "saddened" by her death.
I saw it. Wasn't that funny?
