Anna Nicole Smith collapsed in her hotel room at the Hard Rock Cafe and Casino in Hollywood, Fla., and was rushed to a hospital on Thursday. A Hollywood, Fla., fire department spokesman told MSNBC TV that the actress was unresponsive when the rescue unit arrived on the scene.
Sources confirmed to Access Hollywood that Smith was transported to Memorial Regional Hospital shortly after 2 p.m. EST on Thursday. Access Hollywood also is reporting that Smith was intubated at the scene.
Officials told the Miami Herald, "it does not look good."
It just occurred to me what you are really saying here, Sacajaweau, you're talking about the break in at ANS home? Of course, all they need is a baby brush with her hair in it, or her pacifiers, or bottles, etc..
The idea that ANS was on methadone, or any drugs while pregnant, is making me ill. And not one person stepped in? If Larry Birkhead KNEW and thought this was his baby, why didn't he shout it to the world?
Nothing makes sense in this mess.
Which is unfortunate. He needs to be slugged with a loaded purse.
Or (sorry for the mental image) a soiled diaper.

If the Florida court awards Howie the remains of ANS, then I bet he does have a will with her specifying who gets her body after death. If so, I'd love to know the date of the will.
TMZ is also suppose to release some direct Howard Stern dirt today at some point. I think there will be more released from TMZ today.
I think Larry Birkhead did. I believe I read this is why he went to the press and was pushing for Anna to admit he was the father.
Ratings. This is February and February is sweeps and sweeps ratings determines advertising revenue.
He has been trying to shout it out to the world. But no one was really listening until she actually gave birth to the baby and then her son died.
TMZ is really on top of this. The other celeb blogs have just been linking to that site (not digging on their own). Cudos...they don't do the juvenile, snarky stuff...just the story.

Did you hear Laura on H&C last night? She said "I'll tell you what, keep the money and give me the baby, I just want her to be raised in a healthy environment and I dont' see anyone so far who is capable or cares just about the baby." Then I caught Judge Judy for five minutes on LKL and she said very similar things... except she didn't offer to raise her.
That may be part of it. They're obviously targeting a select few in their audience who will believe any garbage that comes out of HKS' pie-hole.

Right now a hearing is going on in Florida to determine if Howard Stern can have ANS body for burial.

That was the mother of the official that fasttracked ANS residence status and the one she was sleeping with according to the avadavit sworn by the Nanny of Dannielynn back in DECEMBER.
Yep on the ratings...and wouldn't a wedding story (if ANS had lived) at the end of February been more profitable to the seller HK$) than just about any other 'media' time of year?
