Anna Nicole Smith collapsed in her hotel room at the Hard Rock Cafe and Casino in Hollywood, Fla., and was rushed to a hospital on Thursday. A Hollywood, Fla., fire department spokesman told MSNBC TV that the actress was unresponsive when the rescue unit arrived on the scene.
Sources confirmed to Access Hollywood that Smith was transported to Memorial Regional Hospital shortly after 2 p.m. EST on Thursday. Access Hollywood also is reporting that Smith was intubated at the scene.
Officials told the Miami Herald, "it does not look good."

I don't see that as having happened. I would think that the Marshall family (that didn't approve of ANS anyway) would have permitted the med procedure to obtain the sperm. And it would have had to be kept frozen (in a clinical setting--then prepared for use, etc). No...it seems more plausible that ANS got preggers the old fashioned way (but just wasn't sure by who).
This friend -- I missed her name -- godmother to Daniel.

Back on her reality TV show, ANS had a personnel assistant, Kimmie. I have been waiting/looking for Kimmie to bring her thoughts public. Someone (several thousand posts ago, LOL) said that HK$/ANS fired Kimmie for stealing (but I don't recall seeing that addressed on the show---but I wasn't a constant viewer). I think this Kimmie would add alot to the discussion...mebbe she is selling her story (or if bad blood between her and HK$) lawyering up.
It's good to know that he is a good police officer. My problem is that all I heard was what he said - that there was no crime perpetrated - because they had talked to the people present at the time of death. That just does not sound like good police work to me. But, will give him the benefit of the doubt. Hopefully there is good police work going on - as you say - we just don't know about it.
I can't watch TV and be online...our close by TV is currently being used by hubby and sons for Penguin hockey game...
