Anna Nicole Smith collapsed in her hotel room at the Hard Rock Cafe and Casino in Hollywood, Fla., and was rushed to a hospital on Thursday. A Hollywood, Fla., fire department spokesman told MSNBC TV that the actress was unresponsive when the rescue unit arrived on the scene.
Sources confirmed to Access Hollywood that Smith was transported to Memorial Regional Hospital shortly after 2 p.m. EST on Thursday. Access Hollywood also is reporting that Smith was intubated at the scene.
Officials told the Miami Herald, "it does not look good."
My guess would be a visibly inflamed GI tract.

Dr. George Nichopoulos was Elvis' private physician from 1969 until the singer's death and a notorious figure in the hearts of many Elvis fans, who blame him, and not the singer, for Elvis' untimely demise.
It is true that "Dr. Nick" wrote tens of thousands of prescriptions for Elvis at a time when Presley was obviously abusing them horribly -- 10,000 "scrips" in the first eight months of 1977 alone.
However, it is true that Nichopoulos had a sincere interest in weaning Presley from his addictions, prescribing placebos, injecting him with nothing, accompanying him on trips to other physicians, and monitoring his health carefully.
On May 16th, 1980, the doctor was formally charged with 14 counts of abusing his license to prescribe, but was acquitted in November. In 1992, however, the case was re-opened, and in 1995, his medical license was revoked.
He worked as a road manager for Jerry Lee Lewis for a while, and today evaluates medical insurance claims by employees of FedEx.
