Anna Nicole Smith collapsed in her hotel room at the Hard Rock Cafe and Casino in Hollywood, Fla., and was rushed to a hospital on Thursday. A Hollywood, Fla., fire department spokesman told MSNBC TV that the actress was unresponsive when the rescue unit arrived on the scene.
Sources confirmed to Access Hollywood that Smith was transported to Memorial Regional Hospital shortly after 2 p.m. EST on Thursday. Access Hollywood also is reporting that Smith was intubated at the scene.
Officials told the Miami Herald, "it does not look good."

One of my guesses, and it's pure speculation, is that ET's exclusive of the funeral and of Stern's interviews predates Anna's death. Remember, it was both she and Howard's contract.We have no idea, of course, how the contract is drawn up. Sources say Big Moe told the cops Anna was on "heavy doses" of prescription drugs that day, including flu medicine and antibiotics. Sources say Moe also told cops that in the months leading up to Smith's death, Howard K. Stern gave her "some types of drugs," though he didn't specifically know which. As he put it, "Anna was in a cloud."
And there's this: Although Moe has not told cops about this, he privately says that Howard K. Stern had certain patterns of conduct when it came to Anna Nicole, and that pattern changed the day she died. We're told it has to do with how Howard would constantly check up on Anna, but he went MIA during the critical time before her death, and Moe says that was "highly strange."

Wonder if the delay in toxicology and cause of death may be manufactured to give time for the "CYA", finger pointing, and seeing who is going to jump-ship?
oops- that's not what I was trying to say. My bad. I was wondering if the same contract that Anna and Howard had with ET when she was alive has continued after her death. In other words, perhaps Howard didn't engineer a new, separate contract , but he and ET were operating under the previous one, with any proceeds going to Dannielynn's trust.
Whichever it is, it's a private contract which I imagine is perfectly legal.
Once Anna died - any contract she had was null and void.
So Howard was acting outside any existing contract in his "funeral" deals with ET.
If the GAL was doing his job he should sue him on that as well as everything else HK$ has done outside the law.
From what I heard Dr. Baden say about Dr. Perper, I honestly think he's more or less above reproach, and good at what he does. Dr. Baden seemed to have full confidence in Dr. Perper.
I think it's all going to come down to the drug investigations, period. I have a few thoughts on that, but will keep 'em to myself for now and wait for the full autopsy reports. It's gonna be interesting!
Ethically, ET and The Insider through themselves in the sewer to televise a funeral in that tabloid trash manner.

Well I thought the GAL was to be planning the funeral, but the one of the P's (Patrik or Pol?) talked as though they were the planners?
