Anna Nicole Smith collapsed in her hotel room at the Hard Rock Cafe and Casino in Hollywood, Fla., and was rushed to a hospital on Thursday. A Hollywood, Fla., fire department spokesman told MSNBC TV that the actress was unresponsive when the rescue unit arrived on the scene.
Sources confirmed to Access Hollywood that Smith was transported to Memorial Regional Hospital shortly after 2 p.m. EST on Thursday. Access Hollywood also is reporting that Smith was intubated at the scene.
Officials told the Miami Herald, "it does not look good."

Stern was also served with legal papers outside the courthouse for allegedly giving perjured statements in connection with Birkhead's paternity suit, Birkhead told E! Online. Birkhead has for months demanded that Anna Nicole and Stern return to the U.S. to undergo drug and DNA testing. Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Robert A. Schneider is deciding whether or not to order Anna Nicole to undergo the testing. Judge Schneider is expected to issue a writing ruling this week.
Was Daniel found in her bed? I thought he was in a chair....if he was in her bed, that is more than odd. That's creepy. She had just been through a C-Section. Was she in a typical hosp. bed?
I've raised 3 sons. 20 year old sons do not sleep with mom. NORMAL 20 year old sons do not sleep with NORMAL moms....

Maybe Moe snapped some pics with his cell phone....in the pics of the EMTs doing CPR, Moe is right there. And, he was with her in the ER when she died. Gave her last rites....ugh
Aug 26 was a Saturday. Odd day for a routine doc's appointment, if you ask me.
It'll be interesting to learn more about this family in general, the parents in particular.
I'm saying this because of the way Scott Petersons mommy coddled him and both parents gave him money like it was growing off of trees. Lacy probably was like a mother figure to him. Someone to take care of him.
In the case of HKS, Anna was someone to take care of him. He even admitted it at the funeral. "You're not here to protect me anymore." Protect you from what Howie?
ATR, I think the parent angle is an important one to look into.

Rita: We want to bring you more now, of our exclusive interview with two of Anna Nicole’s close friends. Earlier Brigitte Neven told me about finding Anna Nicole in that Florida hotel room the day she died. She and her companion Eric Gibson traveled to Florida to help Anna Nicole and Howard K. Stern buy a yacht. I also asked them why they got to know Anna Nicole so well.
EG: Anna Nicole was searching, she was searching for something that she never really had. She was searching for family, love, somebody who would have her back, and somebody who she could lean on , somebody who she could trust.. And I think she found it. What amazes me, what amazes me is that Anna is a great actor, you know, you think ah you think know her…..and all of a sudden you really don’t know her anymore. Because if you tried to control her life you are in trouble. She is the leader, you know, in the Bahamian style we say, ‘she wears the pants in the house’ (laughs) that what we use the Bahamian style.
Rita: What about all these rumors out there or reports out there, if you will, that Howard was controlling Anna?
EG: Nonsense
Rita: Is there any truth that Howard was controlling Anna?
EG: Nonsense, Nonsense…..that is totally…..that is totally out of whack. She, she, if you want to use the sense of control, I would say that she controls him. Cause she…uh….Anna doesn’t do anything she doesn’t want to do, trust me.
Rita: So what was her relationship like with Howard Stern then?
EG: Well, Howard…..you know, I think that’s why Anna and Howard could get off to, Howard has the personality,……..he’s….he doesn’t have a controlling personality…he’s not, he’s not…he just go with the flow…..You know…..sometimes I think he just go the flow too much, but I mean, I be the Bahamian. You know, a lot of men stick their chest out, but Howard don’t. I mean, but this is what she wants. Any other way she not going to accept it.
Rita: Did they love each other, from what you saw?
EG: Oh yeah, oh yeah, oh yeah. Rita: And you believe she loved him?
EG: Oh yeah
Rita: And you believe he loved her?
EG: Oh yeah, this was a……this was a……it was a genuine relationship.
Rita: Why did she embrace you and what did she say about her real family?
EG: Oh, she didn’t want ……she didn’t want to hear her mother them even dream of calling. She thinks she….she thinks…..she doesn’t have a family, she said.
Rita: Even though she has a mother…
EG: Yeah, yeah….she didn’t want…..
Rita: and sisters…….
EG: The last person she want to call is her mother them.
BN: No, she never talked…she… she....she did not speak of her of ….of….no. She…she just said to me that she didn’t have anybody. She said normally there’s a grandmother to knit something, but Dannielynn does not have a grandmother. That’s what she said to me….so.
EG: I know for sure, she wants nothing to do with her mother. I know that for sure. Rita: What were her plans in the Bahamas?
EG: She had a lot of plans for the Bahamas. She had no intention of going anyplace else besides the Bahamas. She was going to make this her home. She had planned to adopt a Bahamian child.
Rita: She wanted to adopt a child?
EG: Absolutely.
BN: Yes.
EG: Absolutely. She wanted…..she wanted to do that. She wanted to get into the Bahamian life. I think that’s why she appreciated us because we always encourage her to go out, get out of the house. Let’s go to the beach. Let’s go swimming. And she loved boats. She loved to boat.
Rita: How serious was she about adopting a Bahamian child?
EG: Oh she…
BN: Well….there is steps you have to go through, you see, but the….the first step was to get the house. And she did…….and to remodel the Coral Harbor home….and uh….you know it’s a step at a time. You got to be subtle first, but that definitely was……she talked about that quite a few times.
Rita: Do you believe she considered Bahamas her home? Based on what you’ve told me?
EG: Absolutely.
BN: Yes
Rita: This was her future here?
EG: Absolutely, Absolutely. You know, you know when she were, when she were going away….just, just this last time, before she leaves to go over….to the states, she said to uh…to Mrs. Gibson, “if something happened to us…..if this plane crash, you keep my baby……do not let them take my baby.”
Rita: Where was the baby when Anna Nicole passed away?
EG: In Nassau, in Nassua………She does……she does not want that baby to…to….to leave the island at all….I know that.
Rita: Why didn’t she want the baby to leave here?
EG: Why? cause people keep messing with her. Everybody keep……everybody keep saying all these things. You know, everybody….everybody wants to own the baby.
Rita: Do you believe she loved Bahamas so much…..she would rather be buried here than…….in the US?
EG: Absolutely.
BN: Well, there’s the other reason. Her son is buried here, so why would she want to be someplace else?
I think so cuz that thing between the A and the X appears to be a slash.

Absolutely!! And probably felt for the first time in months that he actually had a chance to get his little girl. And probably 'fell in love' that weekend too. That wave of love for a child can be intoxicating and he actually saw/felt/held that child and love together. That would override the pain part. He 'lost' Anna months earlier.

What I noticed was that her eyes were WHITE. When most people cry, don't their eyes get puffy and bloodshot? I never saw any tears running down her face either.

I didn't realize that Kim Walther was involved with ANS up until 2004. That doesn't seem that long ago I guess. I can't WAIT to hear what she has to say and I'm confused as to why she hasn't came out. Bobby Trendy has for certain (no pun intended) and I loved that Nancy Grace kept complimenting Bobby Trendy on his outfit the night after ANS's funeral. He just tickles me and for some reason I like Bobby Trendy.

You know, I always thought that odd too. If someone said to me "So and so isn't breathing", that's too hard to tell sometimes. Sometimes they just are breathing shallow or you just can't see it. I would jostle and shake them around before checking a pulse!?! Checking a pulse is something you do when you know there might NOT BE ONE.

Know it sounds strange, but quaaludes and downers were one way to "party".....people took all kinds of drugs just to get "out of it" --- downers were quite common.
