Anna Nicole Smith collapsed in her hotel room at the Hard Rock Cafe and Casino in Hollywood, Fla., and was rushed to a hospital on Thursday. A Hollywood, Fla., fire department spokesman told MSNBC TV that the actress was unresponsive when the rescue unit arrived on the scene.
Sources confirmed to Access Hollywood that Smith was transported to Memorial Regional Hospital shortly after 2 p.m. EST on Thursday. Access Hollywood also is reporting that Smith was intubated at the scene.
Officials told the Miami Herald, "it does not look good."
The other report said she had "flu-like symptoms" even when she checked in. Why travel when you are sick? He could have picked up the boat on his own. They were supposed to sail back to the Bahamas. I can't think of a place I would want to be less if I had "flu-like symptoms" then on a boat!!
Is this true? But won'te they have enough DNA evidence from samples taken at the autopsy that can be used later?
What possible motive does this "attorney for Smith" as the media has him labeled, to BLOCK getting a sample of her DNA?
This makes no sense. The only one who benefits is Stern.

Could be. Probably lazy research on the part of the reporter. "Hey! This guy knew the and he died, TOO!" You know how they all want to the the first to break a story.

Who can forget that the third person in Anna's room when Daniel died heard her say to Howard "You did this! It's your fault!"

Stern is going to get Dannilynn....all legal stuff has to be determined in The Bahamas. This lawyer is a puke and Dannilynn is going to be his meal ticket, also.
So true. Yesterday as the story was actually breaking and they didn't know if she died or not, one news station reported that Anna was in the hospital and will be released tomorrow.....(that she'll be fine). Then not 10 minutes later they said she was dead.
Ron Rale keeps harping on the fact that if Birkhead had been granted his motion, he couldn't do anything with it, except take it to the Bahamas.
I can only hope that her DNA will be preserved from the autopsy. This is sick. The body has to be held for 10 days.

I can't believe they can deny this guy a dna test for what he believes is his kid.
This case certainly doesn't reflect well on money-chasing attorneys like Rale, Stern......and come to think of it John Edwards...hehehe.
Police should be interviewing NASA officials. Motive? ANS death has completely eclipsed Astronut case.
