Anna Nicole Smith collapsed in her hotel room at the Hard Rock Cafe and Casino in Hollywood, Fla., and was rushed to a hospital on Thursday. A Hollywood, Fla., fire department spokesman told MSNBC TV that the actress was unresponsive when the rescue unit arrived on the scene.
Sources confirmed to Access Hollywood that Smith was transported to Memorial Regional Hospital shortly after 2 p.m. EST on Thursday. Access Hollywood also is reporting that Smith was intubated at the scene.
Officials told the Miami Herald, "it does not look good."

Virgie was right and continues to be right to be concerned about the welfare of her little grandbaby. I can't imagine the pain she is going through.
What kind of a monster would use a funeral to speak evil words against the dead person's Mom? The GAL said the funeral was suppose to be for Dannielynn's memories. Has HKS forgotten that DL will always be Virgie's grandbaby, inspite of his hideous vermon?
I do NOT think Stern's words were in reaction to her trying to stop today's funeral. His hate speech, imho, was most likely already composed days ago, with NO regard to Dannielynn's future feelings.
I just watched the Trimspa creep on Greta. He indicated Stern was a kind of father of DL's regardless of the results on a DNA test. This case seems to be somewhat about re-defining what a family IS.
Did anyone else hear Larry B say that HKS text messaged him a message saying he and LB should have a child together??? I sure wish I would have listened closer. If HKS said this before ANS died then its more indication of premeditated murder. Its something a real sicko would say in a joking manner, but in reality they are deadly serious.

Larry has a little crease to the side of his mouth....his left side. Looks to me that DL has the same thing, on her right side. Maybe, I just want to see the resemblance. But, DL looks nothing like Goat.

I agree! Its really unbelievable how Stern continues to accuse others, of doing exactly what he, IS, actually doing. Lying on the stand seems to be okay, only if your name is Howard K Stern. That guy is worse than even Scott Peterson and that is saying something, because Peterson was a real snake.

That is a big WOW~!!! No wonder Stern and his bunch of ghouls have been trying to make deals with Larry and re-define what a * Father * really IS. Hopefully Larry will not make any deals with Stern. Stern should not be allowed to have any role in Dannielynn's life, imo.
Did anyone notice if any of HKS's family, ie sister, and/or parents were at the funeral?

I always pegged Howard as a rather love-sick hanger-on, but I also believed ANS when she said he was her very best friend and confidant. He did work for her, and working for her was a 24/7 job, no doubt. I think he knew her best.
When this saga first began (after Daniel's death), I had thoughts that echo what many of you have been saying, but a few things have changed my mind to being "neutral" about him, for now. I don't think anyone was murdered.
Years and years ago, when I drank too much, one could have called my husband an enabler. I came close to dying once or twice, and I never would have wanted my hubby to have been thought of as implicit in my death, or held responsible if it had ocurred. My choices were my own. Thankfully, I ended up making the right choices:)
Yup, Stern's parents, brother and I think, sister(not postive) were all there. They seem like a very nice, stable family.
I still have questions re: c-sections. In one interview, ANS said it was done because the doctors thought the baby might be too big, but that doesn't make a lot of sense to me. She was a large woman who seemed to have plenty of room to deliver.
My daughter weighed 9lbs6oz when she was born, and there was never any talk of a c-section. (her birth wasn't exactly a picnic-lol)
What other reasons would there have been for ANS to have a section, other than baby's size, or any possible medical conditions of the mother? Hearing a snippet somewhere that ANS was afraid of childbirth makes me wonder if THAT could have been a reason? Do ob-gyns perform c-sections simply because the mother might want one? I wouldn't have thought so, but just not sure.

That was my take on it too after I saw the video clip of Anna saying Howard was her best friend...said she was alone often, and Howard was the only one there, so they got to be best friends. I'm paraphrasing all of that, can't remember the exact quote. But the interview was in 2002, I think, and she was not drugged up at the time. So, I knew she was just expressing her own true feelings.
Howard did seem to always want the boyfriend/girlfriend relationship with Anna instead of only being best friends. I think he was very close to her and thought he was helping her. But providing the drugs, etc., ended up doing much harm. His legal advice in certain situations was not good for her. And also it looks like he was a major cause for Anna to be estranged from her family.
It does seem like Larry is the real father of the baby. Still would be good to have the DNA test confirm it. Larry seems like a nice guy, and that he really did care about Anna. I hope if he is the father that he will not have any problems getting custody of the child.

I feel so sorry for Virgie! We are seeing an example of the type of people which prevented her from getting close to her daughter, as well as her grandson, all these years. ANS was under the influence of God only knows what, while Stern and the rest ran things behind the scenes.
Stern took full advantage of Anna's drug use, in the hopes of gaining all those big $$$$$$$$'s from old man Marshall's estate. I might be wrong, but iirc, if Anna's estate gets a settlement from the Marshall's, the attorney (Stern) and his friends, could get as much as 1/3 of the millions. This would be in addition to Stern's role as either guardian or executor of her estate.
Therefore, if Stern looses his fight to be Dannielynn's father/guardian but still wins the *Will* battle with the Marshalls he will get Big Money. Stern has covered all the bases VERY well. Talk about a double or triple dipper.
Then there's the possibility of 7 life insurance policies for HK money hunger Stern. You'd think Stern would try to present a humble image of himself. But NO, he has to bash the Mom and show what an evil POS he is, to all who have the ability to add 1 + 1 = 2. Most of media is beyond seeing the truth for some strange reason.
Marshall did NOT leave Anna anything in his will, which I didn't realize until all this happened. She was only married to him for 14 months.

Do you think there is any truth to the * nose job * rumor we've heard about Larry? If it is true, I'll be really surprised because his nose looks so natural.
