Anna Nicole Smith has died according to ABC News

Anna Nicole Smith collapsed in her hotel room at the Hard Rock Cafe and Casino in Hollywood, Fla., and was rushed to a hospital on Thursday. A Hollywood, Fla., fire department spokesman told MSNBC TV that the actress was unresponsive when the rescue unit arrived on the scene.

Sources confirmed to Access Hollywood that Smith was transported to Memorial Regional Hospital shortly after 2 p.m. EST on Thursday. Access Hollywood also is reporting that Smith was intubated at the scene.

Officials told the Miami Herald, "it does not look good."

In contrast, Howie complimented Birkhead tonight on ET by telling about a good deed he had done and I was scratching my head as to why he would do that, until he kept talking.

HKS was bragging about how many seats he needed "for his side" at the funeral and Larry gave him some of his own allotted seats!

But it makes no sense. If you believe Harvey Levine, then you have to believe that Howard was putting himself out as her husband to the EMT's, the hotel, all the first responders, and at the same time he told the hospital??? that he wasn't?

That doesn't wash. Why did Harvey go out on that limb?

This was the CTV attorney who has been down in the Bahamas researching all week.

I noticed Catherine Crier was as stunned as I was wnen John O'Quinn said what he did yesterday, evidentally she asked for some research between Bahamian and US law re: custody and this was the report she received tonight. She was pretty shocked at what she was told.

She has an interesting show today, had on a lawyer that represented ANS in the Marshall case and he was relating everything that happened after the old man Marshall died and how his son treated her. Said she was capable of spending $5 million a year without batting an eyelash and that drove Pierce crazy. One time she bought a bunch of diamonds on Rodeo Drive and he made her cancel the check and return the diamonds.

This guy didn't think much, at all, of HKS, said he was a hanger-on more than a good attorney and he helped drive this case into the ground instead of getting it settled. He had her ear and was giving her bad advice.

He is sick - evil sick. When Anna dies, he goes to see Dannielynn and screams at her over and over - your mother is dead!!! There are hints they tranquilized that baby to keep her from crying. Sorry but Stern is not fit to be anywhere near that baby. And to deny the grandmother to hold her grandaughter - after allowing her to get close enough to touch her - I would be out of my mind with grief if I were Virgie....because those arms LONG to hold that baby.

Agreed. I know she felt she had gotten good attorneys - but IMHO they have been very big disappointments. She is probably feeling very let down and doesn't know what to do.

I know what you are saying. What this woman told Crier was O'Quinn was right about the Bahamas being very friendly to women in particular in their courts, said in the Bahamas all the families live together and grandmothers are revered in their society and are giving a lot of weight in cases like this... she stopped short of saying it was the slam dunk O'Quinn said it is, but said Vergie probably stands a much better chance of custody there than in the USA.

Look at the kids stuck there because fathers spirited them away to Saudi-land and was given preferential parental treatment and our government refuses to intervene.

The diaries in California were pulled out when Daniel died, they had been put away in a bunch of stuff pulled out of a storage facility ANS didn't pay the rent for.

OK, what I'm saying is that I don't buy that the paternity will never be appealable in the US. Somebody has GOT to step in and take a stand and say you can't just run to the Bahamas when you don't like the US laws.

Thanks for that.....I think it may be his first press appearance. King Eric. He was the boat captain, the husband of the babysitter of Dannielynn and his "companion" was the woman Brigitte that Moe and Taz forgot to mention was at ANS bedside when she died.
