Anna Nicole Smith collapsed in her hotel room at the Hard Rock Cafe and Casino in Hollywood, Fla., and was rushed to a hospital on Thursday. A Hollywood, Fla., fire department spokesman told MSNBC TV that the actress was unresponsive when the rescue unit arrived on the scene.
Sources confirmed to Access Hollywood that Smith was transported to Memorial Regional Hospital shortly after 2 p.m. EST on Thursday. Access Hollywood also is reporting that Smith was intubated at the scene.
Officials told the Miami Herald, "it does not look good."
I think that's exactly it.
And what were they doing in FLA without the NEWBORN baby??
I learned a long time ago in my youth about bad kharma and if you lie down with dogs,ya gonna get fleas.
Ditto that. Can't stand any of them.
They were probably afraid of the baby being on American soil with all the custody issues going on.
Sounds about right to me!
MSNBC is having a special right now on Anna Nicole Smith's death.
He is -- evil. Look at her, how she is sitting in the picture. Same thing in the picture with her, Stern and the baby. She looks dead from the inside out.
Slow poison is what I've been thinking all along. Then there was the video I saw earlier tonight on ET where she was semi-conscious and HKS was turning the pages of a magazine while she pretended to look at it.
(They followed that up later in the program to show ANS taking them on a tour through her "new mansion" she was allegedly building in the Bahamas. She was standing and walking, but still unintelligible in her slurred speech, as always.
The interviewer made all kinds of references to her lttle baby having this as her childhood home, how she'll take her first steps here, fall down here the first time, grow up here ... ANS starts half-crying. There'll be *more* tomorrow on ET, they said.)
THEN, there was that photo upthread of Stern holding the soft drink cup for ANS to sip out of (!!!) and it's a Seminole Hard Rock cup, so either this trip or an earlier one.
And the casino is jointly owned by the Seminole tribe AND it's the tribal police chief who is making these announcements out of Broward Co., FL ... by golly, I think HKS found yet another loophole in crime scene investigation.
I'm guessing the casino would be declared "Indian Country" and it's anyone's guess who the ME will be! AAArrrgggh!
You are right, but why are we on this thread if we don't care?
We don't actually 'care'. We just someone know O.J. or ted kennedy might be involved. jk.
What!!!!!!
Isn't it sort of the same with Paris Hilton? only, in a sad way, Anna was more likeable.
I suspect more than ever, now, that he hightailed it back to the Bahamas as soon as she died.
fall or pushed?
who else.
and who hired the nurse? what kind of nurse sees an unreponsive patient, and calls the front desk at the hotel, then hangs out for 7 minutes waiting for hotel security to arrive?
Only, I don't think her breasts were fake.
I know what you mean. Anna was a bimbo, but likeable in a strange way. Paris is so self absorbed and cold.
The Coroner in the Bahamas will conduct a formal inquest into the death of Anna Nicole Smiths son. TMZ has learned one of the witnesses will testify that Howard K. Stern gave Annas son one of the drugs that killed him.
The inquest will be held on March 26. Were told more than 20 witnesses will be called, including Smith and Stern. A source in the coroners office says one of the witnesses will testify that Stern allegedly gave Daniel methadone. And were told that the witness will testify that Stern flushed the remaining methadone down the toilet after Daniel died.
