Anna Nicole Smith collapsed in her hotel room at the Hard Rock Cafe and Casino in Hollywood, Fla., and was rushed to a hospital on Thursday. A Hollywood, Fla., fire department spokesman told MSNBC TV that the actress was unresponsive when the rescue unit arrived on the scene.
Sources confirmed to Access Hollywood that Smith was transported to Memorial Regional Hospital shortly after 2 p.m. EST on Thursday. Access Hollywood also is reporting that Smith was intubated at the scene.
Officials told the Miami Herald, "it does not look good."
So true, we all need some lively escapism now and then..... and I'm certainly not immune to talking about ANS today since she's in the "news" for her sad demise ... though I can't quite grasp the world's intense level of fascination with talentless fake-breasted gold-digging sluts...... oops, did I speak ill of the dead? R.I.P., Anna Nicole Smith.
I agree. I have had nothing but pity for this woman. I don't even know why; just something inside me said she was one of those little lost souls looking for love in all the wrong places.
The courts gave him custody TODAY; he's on his way, I tell you!

Sounds like he's headed somewhere warm with no extradition treaty.
Guess it's just an "icon" of our culture has died - suddenly - leaving a 5 month old motherless baby. A sad soul - much like Marilyn Monroe - whose looks took her a long way so to speak. Agree her marriage to the old guy ---- the guy on Hannity now saying the old guy took her and made her "somebody" and there was "love" there - he was like a father figure to her.....
The whole issue for Anna Nicole Smith was a hunger for real love.....something that apart from her children she knew very little about. With her son gone - surely her lonesome soul was just broken.
Sorry but I do feel sorry for her - very sorry. I don't wish such loneliness on anyone - such lack of love on anyone. I hope she is at peace.

but how does he get the money then? his custody, granted by the bahamian court - it would be Anna's estate that gets the Marshall settlement, how does the bahamian custody agreement give him standing in a US court to be the custodian for the estate passing to her child?

I don't think that was definitive, I think he said "let's see if any pictures of her in that room appear...."

I think he moved her there just for this reason.....in case!
