Anna Nicole Smith has died according to ABC News

Anna Nicole Smith collapsed in her hotel room at the Hard Rock Cafe and Casino in Hollywood, Fla., and was rushed to a hospital on Thursday. A Hollywood, Fla., fire department spokesman told MSNBC TV that the actress was unresponsive when the rescue unit arrived on the scene.

Sources confirmed to Access Hollywood that Smith was transported to Memorial Regional Hospital shortly after 2 p.m. EST on Thursday. Access Hollywood also is reporting that Smith was intubated at the scene.

Officials told the Miami Herald, "it does not look good."

I heard that one of the truly LOL moments today was when Judge Fonzy took the ME's call on speakerphone ( don't understand why it is necessary for the Mom to hear the morbid details of her daughter's continued decomp )
and the judge said that he had
" Dr Pepperperp " on the phone.
We call the ME - " Dr Perpetually on TV."
But, Dr Perper does get a lot of credit for staging a proper viewing today for the mother and Larry Birkhead and the Kidnapping Leech.

From TMZ, Virgie, HK$, and Larry were all at the ME's office (now known to have accessorized with overhead lighting; roses; and some type of drapes.) We didn't get to see Larry leave the ME's Office, but we saw HK$ leave thru a backdoor (helicopters with cameras were overhead) and Virgie leave (with aid) thru another door. When they got back to Court (later) Virgie was questioned about a Mr. Lee (who works for Splash Magazine--a blog?) alerting the media. One of the copters hovering was from Splash...so it brought up a whole (long line) of questioning on the 'intent' of the parties (money making wise).

Today at the lunch break, Virgie and husband, Larry, HKS all went to the morgue to view the body.

Perper keeps popping into the hearings (by telephone) every day to say that her body is beginning to deteriorate, and that it might not be acceptable for viewing. Thus setting up the viewing today.

I happened to hear Rush today. He was just going on and on about all this hoopla about Anna Nicole's saga......all the time and space the media were giving to it and that it tells us about our culture......

I love Rush. I Know many Freepers would agree with him.

But, Rush (and others) - (somebody has the list) - this to me is about justice and truth and a little innocent baby's well being.

It is an ongoing investigation.....and no it doesn't determine anything re: the wellbeing of America or the world....except in terms of the justice system in our country.

But the deal is most on this thread are "investigating" - seeking the truth - and most are able to multitask - do this while checking other news, while listening to Rush or Sean, and while being active in the upcoming elections or ongoing corruptions.

But it is ALSO a diversion from the heavier issues of today - for me - because one can take all the Hillary threads and all the Obama threads and the debates over Guiliani - and the Iraq war threads - up to a limit - and then we need a BREAK.

Someone called Rush today also saying he felt so helpless to do anything to stop "liberals" in general.....and the liberal media I think he meant....and the liberals in Congress who are undermining our country's defense, etc.

I had to stop listening before Rush answered....so I'll be reading the Rush thread to see if they report Rush's answer....BECAUSE I TOO FEEL HELPLESS TO STOP THE DESTRUCTION OF MY BELOVED COUNTRY......somesimes....and sometimes, not.
