Do you mean you think it is odd how teams on the same plane can arrive at the mat so far apart or that the losing eliminated team continues to travel as though they are still in it?

I have always wondered about that. I read that on Survivor the eliminated contestants have the option of remaining at the location until the filming is finished. I always thought I’d do that as a free vacation. Heck!

So perhaps the eliminated AR teams are allowed to continue on the world tour. I sure would for the once in a lifetime experience. Even if the losers wanted to return to the U.S. wouldn't’t the produces keep them sequestered somewhere so as not to have any friends or relatives find out the results before the final show?? I don’t know. I'd love to know more behind the scenes about these shows. I have an acquaintance who was on Jeopardy! and it was a serious deal for her to keep mute about the results until her show was aired.

I think it is in stages. Let's just say, the team to be eliminated on next weeks show was also on the same plane as the other contestants when they flew to the next location. I think they (the eliminated team) then flew to the final city before the final 3 teams did.

Sometimes even Phil might be on the same flight with the teams.

I don't know if the teams have the option of continuing the whole way or not. If they did, that would make for a nice trip.

I did some further snooping and here is what I found about plane flights and who were on them.

One flight - *They're probably teams #6 (Guidos), #5 (Uchenna/Joyce), and #4 (you will find out next week who this was)

*(a flight attendant on Air Micronesia) asked (name withheld to avoid spoiling it -one of the team members in the next eliminated team) if Rob/Amber and some of the other racers were on another plane, and (this name withheld for obvious reasons) said something like, "Yeah, yeah, yeah, there's another plane."

Maybe they do continue on for the entire course of the race then.
