ROB & AMBER RETURN TO GLORY;
JOHN VITO & JILL EXIT EARLY

The All-Star Season of THE AMAZING RACE kicked off in spectacular fashion as coalminer and wife David & Mary outright lie to rival beauty queens Dustin & Kandice, Drew took a nasty tumble, and Teams drove through the Ecuadorian countryside. Newlyweds Rob & Amber set the pace throughout the leg to claim a victory while bad directions caused the elimination of former dating couple John Vito & Jill.

ELIMINATED

Stepping onto the mat in last place, formerly dating couple John Vito & Jill received the bad news from Phil that they had been eliminated from the race. A stunned Jill said, "This is not how we wanted to come back. We had high expectations." Afterwards, John Vito reflected, "Coming back on the race really brought us back together and it was great." Jill added, "I think it reunified our relationship to each other and how much we care about each other. So maybe this is going to put us, John Vito & Jill, on a new path that's definitely more than just friends."
