LOL—their clue just told them to go to the pit stop. That’s when you know you’ve lost!
I thought they were gonna adopt a baby?....remember?
at least they didn’t make them go through all the challenges only to still lose...lol
I don’t remember that ... They sure had time to adopt a baby tonight—LOL
I thought they were going to do some kind of expensive fertility stuff, any way some way to have a baby
that may be what I was thinking...their relationship seems shaky...
I think they talked a lot about how bad they want a baby, guess that messes up lots of couples, never had that problem myself so I don’t know
Good night, Buddy :) See ya tomorrow.
goodnight...see ya on 24.....
Well that explains everything! Thanks :)
I think they spent their winnings from the first TAR they participated in on fertility treatments.
Judgemental jerk that I am, I was thinking, how could they spend their winnings on fertility treatments, and not adopt some of those orphans they visited in Africa with their winnings. Here were real live children, not "maybe children", and they chose the pie in the sky option.
Getting off my soapbox now.
Tonight I saw Mirna telling Charla to run up steps. Then I got a phone call I could NOT END.
Where did they go?
What happened?
Who got eliminated?
Did anything funny happen?
I can’t believe it. The most important hour of the week and I miss it.
C & M got there first and opted to find one piece of licorice in 600 boxes of cookies. They gave up and went to do the batik printing which the blonds had chosen.
The blonds beat them by finishing their batik first. Cha Cha Cha went for the cookies too and gave up and tried the batik.
The boy girl team got a bit behind finally got to the detour and did cookies. They actually found the licorice.
U & J were no where to be seen.
The next task was to ride a bike with a sidecar around a nice neighborhood and get their newspapers for recycling. The Blond was good as all the guys tripped over their tongues to help her.
Mirna dispensed advice for successful living to the local teenagers (stay in school and away from drugs...)while she pedaled around.
Cha Cha Cha had Danny do the task and he after not being able to find enough papers went to the local convenience store and bought enough to fulfill the task.
The boy/girl team had the girl do the task and she had to go back twice as she didn't get enough initially.
U & J were nowhere to be seen.
Team Barbie was first, C & M second, boy/girl third and ChaChaCha brought up the rear.
A day later U & J showed up and were eliminated.
At least that's what I think happened. :)
Oh I can’t believe I missed it! Thanks for the update. That is very thorough. I’d love to see Mirna giving advice from the bike!
(cough, cough, cough)
Cha Cha's best moment was their little tiff - oh, he hates me... I just need my space... I'm so emotionally drained... I'm so sweating.
A risky flight with a tight connection sealed the fate of married couple Uchenna & Joyce who landed in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia hours after the other Teams checked in after missing their plane in Frankfurt. The only previous winners of the race became the seventh Team eliminated while beauty queens Dustin & Kandice notched up their second win.
As the sun began setting over Kuala Lumpur, married couple Uchenna & Joyce finally landed in Malaysia where Phil told them they had been eliminated from the race. Joyce commented, "Having never been eliminated before it's a strange feeling for us because this is it for us. This is the end of the road for us in this race. There's a new spark that I can see that I appreciate about Uchenna. I just can't imagine being without him." Uchenna added, "Joyce and I have made the choice to stay together and try to work every kink out and find that place where we can be together happily for the rest of our lives."
Which is how I knew it was not a non-elim this time - if it was, they’d make them go through the tasks to establish a leave time behind the other teams.
I’ve never seen so many teams get killed by lack of flights and tight connection times as I have this season.
I think U&J should have known when the next connecting flight was going to be, and factored that into their decision to take the short connection.
Knowing that it would be a whole DAY LATER should have made them choose another flight.
