I got the feeling David wanted Mary to fall out of the raft :)
Nah, David isn't that bright
they were both afraid of the water, I'm surprised they didn't do the climb..
see ya tomorrow night on 24
Night, Buddy :)
I wonder what the surprise finish is next week. Is Romber going from first to worst?
Y'all should go check out the Elimination Station on CBS.com. It doesn't look like a bad place to hang out.
Wow, pretty sweet!
Of course I don't know exactly when the non-elimination rounds are going to happen.
The racers will soon go to Africa. If my memory is correct, the final city is San Francisco, but that is still a few weeks from now.
I was glad to see team Kentucky go last night.
Punta Arenas, Chile
Ushuaia, Argentina - note this is the southernmost city in the world.
Here is a comment from someone who saw them at Ushuaia. "It is soooo staged."
Before it is over, they will visit a couple of countries they haven't "officially" been to before, although one city a team used the airport as a connecting flight trying to get to another location.
As Teams made their way to small Chilean towns of Petrohue and Metri, newlyweds Rob & Amber continued their domination by winning a third consecutive leg. Meanwhile, flopping fish drove Danielle to distraction and a missed clue befuddled the beauty queens, but in the end, coalminer and wife David & Mary couldn't overcome their navigational woes and became the third eliminated Team.
Pulling into the Pit Stop in last place, coal miner and wife David & Mary received the bad news from Phil that they had been eliminated from the race. Mary commented, "This time I think that we both came to the realization that I'm me and he's him and we gotta accept each other for who we are." David added, "I'm not gonna change her and she's not gonna change me. We just gotta go with the flow."
LOL! Oh, I hate you! I'm so sick and coughing up nasty gunk and then you go and post that! Oh, I hurt and it's your fault - hahahahahahaha!
Had to laugh at the facial expressions made by all the women when handling those fish. Compared to other tasks, it was a piece of cake! So tired of Rob and Amber coming in first; hope someone, anyone comes in first in the next leg.
My favorite moment is when the Mary said something about equating rafting with being killed and there's this really sly little smile on David's face.
I'm sure they're nice people, but I'm glad they're gone. They shouldn't have been on this race in the first place - they're not all-stars by any stretch of the imagination.
And did I feel some Teri love Sunday night when she told that witless harpy Mirna to dial it back at the airport. Mirna's whole "I learned it from the king of rude" was a comment worthy of a five-year-old. I loved it when she got upset when Ian asked for "security" and she was insulted - wasn't she the one who told an airport agent during her season that several of the racers were "violent" and that they needed to be careful of them. In a post 9-11 airport? Can't stand the two of them.
I wish Charla had a different partner. I still think she has great attitude. I do not like how Mirna hollers at her during the race and then hugs her upon reaching the mat. Squishes Charla's soul all day and then celebrates at the end.
Confusion at the Detour allows a team to
overtake its longstanding rival, jeopardizing its place.
I hope this isn't Roamber....
