JMHO.
Not even.
To say something like that makes it readily apparent that you do not know much about Dale Jr, or his history in the sport.
Your statement, I think Dale, Jr. has a total lack of respect for what his dad did to get where he was. has no merit what so ever.
Please, do tell me what Dale Jr's record was in the Busch series. No respect? The guy wants to drive! And he can drive.
If anything, people expect him to be his Dad. Obviously, he is not. Maybe you haven't noticed that yet.
Dale Jr has a huge amount of respect from the other drivers and, fortunately, that is what counts - his peers. That is something your "Daddy" can't give you, you have to earn it. And it's quite a tough crowd.
As for the celebrity stuff, what, are you on Theresa's mailing list? Sponsor (about the biggest one in the business) responsibilities? Even Horryweird dimwits want to meet Dale Jr.
Dale Jr is not the one that needs a reversal of the cranium rectal insertion process.
For the record, my favorite driver is behind the wheel of the #44 car.
I just happen to like the driver of the #8 car. I appreciate what he does for the sport.
JMHO, of course.
FWIW, A friend of mine from Alabama said two years ago that Jr should spend less time with commercials and pay more attention to his racing. This from a devout Jr fan and she's known him since he was a baby.
