It's the old heat pump that has failed....one too many times imo. That's why I decided to get a new one....which will be installed this Friday afternoon or Saturday, depending on the weather.

I'm warm enough w/the gas logs, but I don't leave them on when I'm asleep, so early mornings are chilly...ok make that COLD. Firing up the logs and the coffee maker does the trick, however.

I've got enough food in the freezer and pantry that I could hole up for months. I did not go to the grocery store today....already have milk, bread, and TP....the 3 essentials. LOL

I just watched the weather, Carolinamom, and can see you're going to get some lousy weather and I sure wish that heat pump was in hour house right NOW. Yikes. I hope you have an electric blanket?!
