(Most space rocks and dust just float in space, what happens is the earth slams into it at 60,000 mph during it's travel around the sun, trherefor the burning up of meteorites. Comets do travel at a 2 - 40 km/sec, interstellar at 40 - 70 km/sec. An object such as the photograph shown does not appear to be moving.. My opinion, not rocks from space!)

I doubt that a meteor would have been in view long enough for this guy to go inside and bring back a camera and shoot a picture ... unless he's the Flash.
