My two linux boxes have been running Stanford's protein folding@home 24/7 for nine months now. Rock solid and utterly dependable.

My microsoft box still requires a reboot about every five days.

Thought you'd like to know.

My 3 Microsoft boxes don't crash and don't require rebooting except when installing software or updates. 2 are home builts and 1 is a Dell. MY laptop also doesn't lock up or crash but it does get shut down. Just thought you would like to know :-)

It's your problem, but if that were my system, I'd be getting to the bottom of it. Re-boots are definitely a good prescription for Windows based machines, but forced re-boots that often indicates a problem that I wouldn't necessarily be hanging on the OS.
