I saw Warlock in '86 as part of the Monsters of Rock tour that came through W. Germany (back when there was still a West and East!). They were really good, but Def Leppard stole the show, it being their first tour after Rick Allen's car wreck. Ozzy, the Scorps, Bon Jovi (listened to his first two songs, then my buddies and I left to go find some food) and MSG also played. What a day...

It was that and more! The Scorps, being homeboys, were the main event, but everyone was pulling for Leppard. Rick Allen proved from the first song he was back for good. I'd seen them in '83 on their Pyromania tour, and their '86 show was just as flawless. The only difference was they had a hungry kind of vibe, like they had something to prove.
