Tony and Michelle left us last year(season five). Michelle was first, the victim of a car bomb that was meant to kill Tony too. However he survived, only to be taken out in the last third of the season(about the 16th hour)after teaming up with Jack and CTU.

Interestingly enough, party affiliation of the Presidents on "24" is never mentioned after Season 1.

Well, season 5 is when I started watching. Guess I'll have to look at it again. President Logan was so pathetic.

True, and I noted that the identification of DP as a Dem came conspicuously late in the series. As if they didn't want to mention it, but eventually relented.

According to supplemental material, DP was supposed to be a Maryland Senator. In a supreme irony, when Maryland had the chance to elect a black Senator this year, the voters declined. Of course, he was a Republican. Then again, there was a Democrat candidate, too, and he didn't make it either.

I read an article once where the producer of the show said that 24 was like the anti-West Wing. The West Wing was a "Utopian" look at an idealized version of the Clinton administration, while 24 is the Dystopian version.

I won't visit any spoiler sites, but if you listened carefully to the previews from Sunday night for Monday nights show you could easily hear a nuke going off. I was hoping Curtis would not be killed, but I had a feeling he would be.

Kiefer on the news Sunday night stated a MAJOR player would be killed.
