Perhaps you think that Desperate Housewives is a more redeeming and educational show then.

Will this deflate the real estate bubble? Speaking of which...looks like our favorite doomer got spanked big time today while shilling for a foreclosure investment company. Some folks have no shame.

Soothing Dave....Coexerj145's information about 24 is quite accurate and has been for over a year now....he never gives anything up on the boards but has an email list for those interested in knowing what is going to happen before it happens...he is quite a gentleman about it.

"Never, in the entire history of television, has there been a show as good as '24'. It is the best show ever."
I just watched seasons 1,2, and 3 this past weekend. I was transfixed.
However, I must say that I'm disappointed in the first four episodes of season 6. The writing and acting are poor.
I understand that the producers want to show "good" Muslims, along with the bad ones. However, the dialogue is trite and predictable. The family in tonights episode was very lame.
Also, I was hoping for a new president. By that I mean NOT a Palmer. How did Wayne go from businessman, to chief-of staff, to president? "Cynthia McKinney" Palmer a.k.a. Sandra Palmer is a weak character. Her lines sound like they're straight from an ACLU handbook.

Sandra Palmer is a weak character. Her lines sound like they're straight from an ACLU handbook. As I said earlier, there are two ways to think of this. One, 24 is sympathetic to the ACLU positions and expresses it through her character. Two, 24 is ripping the ACLU's heart and guts out by showing what its "principles" actually lead to in practice. My money is with the latter possibility, but I'm not quite yet ready to put up the ranch as well.

Poor Pitiful Pearl is ADORABLE! And, I already like Chloe! A smile occasionaly would be nice......but the 2 episodes I've seen so far.....nothing for her to smile about. Except that Jack is alive!
To: tsmith130
So did mine! Isn't she adorable?

Of course it's a compliment!
To: WestVirginiaRebel
I'm sure that was it. But now look what the people got! My only gripe this season is the poor acting...I know I sound like a broken record but my gosh--the actors playing the Palmers are awful--there's no energy there!
On another note, don't forget to read Dave Barry's blog:

Nah, nah, nah. You don't want Chloe to smile, you want to watch her shoot up a terrorist!
I'm new to 24 also......I've watched all five previous seasons on DVD since November. And I will tell you that the two more memorable non-Jack Bauer moments were Chloe firing on a terrorist (I stood up and applauded and I never do that!) and a totally 'Hitchcockian' suspense scene where a woman walks through a mosque to identify a terrorist.

Dave Barry's blog is a riot. Free Republic and his blog have become my post episode destination.

Ah, if you watched all four hours, you would have seen that not all the suicide bombers LOOK like Islamofascists. The guy who blew up the bus in LA was Asian, as in Far East Asian.
