Well its a lot more graphic so far! The pen thing is something I teach all my student... a simple Bic pen can be the most dangerous weapon, and go completely unnoticed. ALWAYS bring one with you on a plane.Man Rosalyn, you teach one hell of a kindergarten class!

I guess Jack biting the jugular of the terrorist was #1. I wonder what Kiefer thought when he read that part of the script.

My local station went off the air right when Jack got handcuffed to the grate. Does you know if the episode will be available to view on fox.com or itunes, and when that might be up?
We had an ice storm here so I guess they lost power.

I have been thinking about that deal the president made with the terrorist in exchange for Jack.
Didn't they say that they gave up codes and satillites positions??? If they did, the terrorist now have our defense secrets.
Why the hell did we give up that and even worse what the hell are they doing to do with it???

Jack looks pretty good for just being released from chinese prison, and being tortured by a muslim terrorist -- and he still hasn't had a drink of water. He would have to use the bathroom.

Why the hell did we give up that and even worse what the hell are they doing to do with it??? They temporarily gave Fayed the ability to monitor what CTU was doing, so he could tell they weren't planning to rescue Jack. That's all.
Once he gave the co-ordinates (clink!) of Assad's hideout, Buchanan gave the order to lock Fayed out.

I may be the only one on this forum that hasn't seen episodes 3 & 4 off the net but I'll bet when Jack see whatever they're referring to at the end of episode 4, that's when Assad's words come true...

Rush opening his show reading emails from angry subscribers who are sick of the PC angle as we saw on last night's opener.

It reminded me of the line from Beverly Hills Cop, with Serge trying to pronounce "Axel Foley" and he kept calling him "Achmed".
To: rintense
Actually, he said he wouldn't TELL them anything. Still he was wrong, but it was Jack giving up on the torture, not Jack misreading the guy as an innocent.
To: Miss Didi
You know what they say:
"Just because you have an idiot redneck bigoted neighbor doesn't mean you aren't a terrorist."
That, and:
"Then listen, listen - no matter what, we are not ending this night without White Castle in our stomachs. Agreed?"
To: Miss Didi
I'm not sure I would really call it PC, they do intend to show that not all Muslims are evil and some will be unfairly discriminated against. They also intend to show that it's not only Muslims that are waiting at the gates. All true.
However they also show that indeed sometimes the people we don't suspect, such as the young Muslim friend across the street whose father was wrongly arrested, really are sleepers who are waiting to act. So yes, Muslims and probably Chinese and certainly Iranians are indeed out there waiting to kill us, but I don't hold it against 24 that they don't just use Islam Inc as the one supervillain.

It likely will. Also, Fox was planning to release the first 6 or 8 episodes on DVD soon after they air.
However, this might not happen after the release of the episodes onto the Internet after the DVDs were sent out to select screeners.
