Was the whole sky green or was it the trail of some reentering space junk?

If it creates a mess when it lands, whoever tossed it is going to get fined, or maybe even receive five Strokes of the Rattan Cane.

Saw a meteor or space debris while driving some years back.

It was 'preceded' by a prolonged green flash that lit up the highway and the hills on either side.

I thought someone had fired a flare until I leaned forward and looked out the top of my windshield. Then I saw the object itself shooting off white sparks and leaving an orange trail.

As the Sun sets in the evening you see blue sky turn into red sky. In between, in the blink of an eye, you may see it turn to green ~ it'll look like a streak of green light.

You usually don't get a good look at it in humid atmospheric conditions. The air has to be exceptionally dry, and that's probably a rare event in the vicinity of Singapore.

Saw a green meteor trail in New England about 1966. It was orange on the leading edge and split into two identical parts, still orange and green. Went all the way across the sky, low and slow. Typical orbital debris.

The green flash is well known but rarely seen. Usually the sun itself flashes green as it sets if it is going to happen, but north of here refraction is so bad the sun often doesn't set but fades to zero while still slightly above the horizon. Saw the sun at Prudhoe Bay a good three hours after sunset. It never set at all and it didn't give the green flash either.

I see green trails all the time here on the Chesapeake Bay.
It's not uncommon, but more so then past years around the US.

I think it's a mineral change from certain meteorites and has
been rare in the past. Usually the slow ones turn green from my experience.
