In High School (early 80s), my best friend had a 1975 yellow Ford Pinto (that he spent waaaaay too much time trying to 'trick' out)
And I had a 1970 Triumph GT6+
(It looked just like this except mine had more dents and was a very nice rust/bondo color-and I had a hole in the firewall between the engine and my legs that cause all of the hair on my legs to melt when I drove it during the summer) ;-)
I had a GT6, as well. It was a screamer.
I rolled it over twice when I hit black ice coming back from a ski trip. The entire car was a shambles, but it started up, and I drove it home. The insurance company totaled it.
