I'm a Texas girl and I agree with you. You should have seen the ones I deleted from it. The list was googled and I believe that most folks were stoned when they were putting it together.
I always wonder who makes up those lists. Most of the lists I see assume the kids of the (fill in the blank)decade are little kids. I think to be a 'child' of the (fill in the blank) decade one needs to be a teen or older so one can understand what is actually going on. I was born in the late 50's, I don't consider myself a 'child of the 60's' as I was oblivious to most of what went on then. Except for Kennedy's assasination; that I remember because it impacted my cartoon watching.
