I've noticed Deep Purple and Black Sabbath in some car/truck commercials too.

"Highway Star" while driving is one of the surest ways in the world to get a speeding ticket, even now when I am forty blah mumble, mumble, unintelligible.....

Great marketing idea: Ford Motor Company is using the Black Eyed Peas "Let's Get It Started" to advertise its dealership sales events. Only problem is most people (under 45) know the lyrics and the complicated lyrics go something like this:

Everybody, everybody, let's get into it.

Get stupid.

Get it started, get it started, get it started.

Let's get it started (ha), let's get it started in here. etc..
