I think it was all that praying for rain we did last summer. God said, “ok, here it comes!”

Yes, I’m having major trouble with my barn flooding. My tack room is damp and all my leather is covered in green slime. I’ve never seen anything like it. I’m gonna get the kids out there today and start cleaning and oiling tack. I need to get ya’ll some pictures.

Supposed to keep raining all week. I’m betting 4th of july is a wash out, too.

I do think I have my weight loss under control. I’ve maintained at 113 for about 2 weeks now.

I’m sorry about the flooding. Rocky’s stall for some reason has filled with water. I figure it’s because he has a cut on his lower leg, and it just happened to make it difficult to treat:\

I’m going to try to put in a small drainage hole out the back, and then as soon as this stops, and I get my bobcat back I’m going to have to do some serious landscaping in front of his stall to stop it.

You know tho, there is no great loss without some small gain...even in my rocky pastures grass is growing...

Sounds like in addition to doing a little grading, you may want to trench and put in 4" drain and some gravel around the drip line from the roof.

Unfortunately I have a LOT of experience with drainage! (we live in a hole).
