Good morning:)
Still looks like we could get rain today...so I’ve decided to CLEAN house. I’m not the best housekeeper in the world, but I have a limit on how bad I’ll let it get:). Once in awhile I just have to stop everything else (IOW’s horse stuff:) and concentrate on my house, today is the day, so that if the weather ever dries up, I can ride with a clear conscience:)
Anyway, boy do I get the “I don’t feel like training”. Unfortunately, especially with a green one, it seems like you just can’t not train. As Hair said, IMO, the easiest way to fix the problem would be put him in a run by himself. It really does help, IMO.
I’d ask myself, how often do you really plan on riding by yourself? If it’s not really an issue, I wouldn’t worry about it as long as you get along with him when riding with others. How does he do riding with other horses that are not his buddies?

Great minds... ;o)
We’re putting off cleaning at this point, because in a week or two, we’re going to have to do the “stop everything and deep clean for company” thing. His parents are visiting middle of July.
We’re going to empty the rooms and get carpet cleaner and the whole bit. We need to do that.
