I’m sorry you don’t have HBO. It was an interesting program. They mentioned Ruffian in it too. They showed the sling that they put Barbaro in then in a swimming pool so that what happended to Ruffian did not happen to him. It was an amazing contraption. It lifted the horse back out when he was fully awake and carried him to his stall to be lowered to his feet.

The show was very tastefully done, and gave a lot of insight into the owners, trainer, and vet. I’ll keep it protected and maybe I’ll still have it when you come in Oct.

When I was watching the Ruffian program, a lot came to my mind, about how things would have been different with the advance changes in vet care. These events are so tragic, but a lot of knowledge is gained from them.
