Would like to see what it looks like to compare. You might have to swim across if you dared. Some of the places you photograph are dry washes that might have water in them now too, right?
Yeah, there are going to be a lot more spots to cross water in, no doubt.
The trail on my side of the creek down to the deep water, I won’t be able to go down it. It gets really really boggy with sucky mud, and with the rocks too it’s pretty treacherous. I had a horse fall to his knees one time going down it. We went half way with him on his knees and I was just about to bail when he finally got his feet back under him. I won’t go down it anymore when it’s really muddy.
I don’t think he would have to swim, even in the deep spot, it would over flow the banks before it got so deep that he’d have to swim. My concern is if the water is flowing fast, how much does it take to cause a horse to lose his footing?
